The Bräugasthof
is a place to come for peace and tranquillity, for romance, and
for the cosy comfortable atmosphere that can only be found in
a family run business. The Lobisser-Höplinger family following tradition
make an effort to make your stay a pleasurable and memorable one.
The name of the
house Brauehaus means brewery but the house dates back much further,
originally the building was the home of an affluent salt manufacturer.
In the year 1504, the Emperor Maximilian honoured the house with
the permit to brew beer.
The Brauehaus is positioned on the edge of the romantically scenic
Lake Hallstatt this historical building originally consisting
of three houses has cleverly been turned into one and renovated
into a charming, cosy guest house.
The Lobisser-Höplinger family
welcome guests throughout the year. There are only eight rooms
and each and every one has a charm of its own, with unique antique
furniture, a breathtaking view of the lake, cute little wooden
balconies to sit out on in the evening sipping a glass of wine
while taking in the magical view of the lake, along with the comfort
of technology, TV with cable, and of course a shower and toilet.
In the morning you come down to a plentiful breakfast buffet in
the charming brewery room where up until 1917 the locals would
gather for a sip of the famous house brew.
Credit cards are welcomed.
